There is not much to say about the interface. It's no eye candy and it doesn't support skins or themes. Instead, it concentrates on the functionality. This is the area where Ace Media Player exceeds, as it supports a wide range of audio and video formats. The user just needs to open the desired media files in order to play them. Ace Media Player includes a playlist in which different types of files can be added. It can also import complete playlists that were created using other players.

Media files can be played only once or can be set to repeat themselves. For every file, the program can display some information, like the codec used, the quality, the file size and the length. Video files can be played together with subtitles.

Once a playlist has been created, the user can save it, to reuse it later or to import it in another media player. Besides that, the program can be set to stay on top of other applications.

The interface seems too simple and doesn't support skins or themes. Besides that, the number of options is limited.
